Calling all cooks inside the making: Healthy Schools Healthy Communities Cooking Matters lessons for Willow Springs School District will start Aug. 12 for children five to thirteen. Children should be accompanied by the aid of an adult family member.

The Cooking Matters for Families is a six-session course that meets for two hours at a time, teaching participants how to cook wholesome meals and achieve this on a budget. Each family, generally one person and one child, chefs at a station, making an entree, a side dish, or a dessert every week. Participants then get the food for one of those recipes made in magnificence to take domestic and make for their family.
