Shanghai Street Food and Bar brings actual Chinese food to Roswell

Roswell’s most up-to-date restaurant, Shanghai Street Food and Bar, has best been open for 5 weeks and already has customers craving for greater of its localized authenticity.
Located at 112 Magnolia Street, Shanghai Street Food and bar sit in a 100-year-vintage, 1400 square foot residence grew to become an eating place.
Owner and self-proclaimed foodie Aaron Smith left his company advertising and marketing job just a few months ago to pursue his dream of proudly owning his restaurant. His father becomes inside the eating place commercial enterprise for many years, so Smith becomes interested in the eating place way of life.

“Roswell itself doesn’t have a simple proper ethnic delicacy, no longer in the ancient district besides,” Smith said. “I just wanted to bring that right here in Roswell. I wanted to do that in a manner that felt like Roswell and felt proper to Roswell and no longer foreign, so that’s what you see in the informal environment.”
All menu gadgets are made completely clean and from scratch. Smith works with neighborhood farms and businesses, inclusive of Athena Farms and Flux Ice Cream. All proteins are clean, and Shanghai offers alternatives for vegans and vegetarian clients as well.
Menu gadgets include savory beef dumplings, tofu fried rice, lobster fried rice, and made-from-scratch dan noodles with Szechuan sauce.
“Because we take so much care in our coaching and our proteins, it doesn’t permit us to have 207 dishes, so as a substitute, we consciousness those efforts on those that mean the maximum, the ones that have the maximum identity,” Smith said.
Smith says the maximum famous menu object thus far is the duck confit chook wings, which take 3 days to prepare. The hen wings are cured for 2 days; marinate them overnight, confit them in duck fats. Right before the wings are served, they’re flash-fried for easy, crispy skin.

“Shanghai is a colorful and eclectic city,” Smith said. “I conceive that if we deliver Chinese food to Roswell, it’s important that we recognize it in a manner that’s true. The eating place also offers $3 valet parking for guests and prides itself on having some of the cheapest liquids. Smith says he desires to make it approachable for people to come and drink.

Shanghai Street Food and Bar are open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 P.M. to eleven P.M., Friday and Saturday from 5 P.M. to eleven forty-five p.m., and Sunday from 5 p.m. To 11 p.m.
